Bits and Bobs

This is the name we had as kids for the many different things that fitted in life, but not with any real connection.  A bit of this, a bit of that. Similar to the second kitchen drawer.  An essential mix of 'as needed' things that, in reality, we could, but can't live without.

Services

The range and type of resources available is constantly growing. The range will be added to as we learn of more ways you can learn, stay connected, and access ideas to live well, engaged and informed.

The Seniors Channel

The Seniors Channel is not your typical TV channel.

It’s a fun and engaging health and wellbeing platform right on your TV!

The SeniorsChannel programs are created with seniors at the centre of design; using research and direct feedback from people aged 65+, we craft programs that are engaging, purposeful, and beneficial to health and well-being.

More than just entertainment, The SeniorsChannel is fun and fosters a sense of belonging, helping viewers to stay connected in meaningful ways.

Craft and Therapy Materials

Our mission is simple: to support other families caring for their loved ones at home with dignity and compassion.

We understand how challenging and tiring this journey can be, but we also know that small moments of mindful connection and joy can make all the difference. We’re here to help make those moments easier to create.

Wisdom Activities is an Australian-run shop specialising in recreational therapy resources. We have a wide range of leisure and lifestyle products to cater for seniors and those living with disabilities in residential, hospital, and community settings.

Our goal is to provide Recreational Therapy professionals with evidence-based products that support best practices and improve client outcomes. We only offer products we’re proud of, and if they don’t exist, we design them ourselves.

We want to make your experience EASY! Easy to buy and easy to use. Above all, we are easy to talk to and easy to understand. We love sharing our knowledge.

We also work with a number of Indigenous artists to create resources that aim to inspire and raise awareness of Indigenous culture.

  • Before I die, I want to…Last Wishes / Bucket List

When people hear they have a serious and life-limiting condition, it is natural to consider how they would like to spend their time and what they want to do before they die. Creating a bucket list or organising a special wish to be granted can be invaluable in preparing for death. Common themes people consider as they contemplate their final wishes include:

  • Travel where adventures have taken you and where you could still go.
  • Activities and experiences, past, future and what you want others to do in your stead.
  • Quality of life. What does quality mean to you?  How does it look, feel, include, and what it doesn't.
  • Being with family and friends, or in a specific, special location that gives meaning.
  • Dying comfortably and how you would achieve comfort.
  • Taking care of final matters
