Here, you'll discover our story, our mission, and what drives us to provide comprehensive end-of-life resources and support. We're dedicated to making a difference in people's lives by offering a central hub for information, guidance, and community connection.
Our Story
Honouring Life Education was born from a simple observation: clients found it challenging to navigate funeral planning and end-of-life decisions.
We realised the need for a resource that not only covers funeral arrangements but also encompasses 'living well' information.
This includes essential documents, Advance Care Directive planning, Power of Attorney, Wills and Estates, and so much more.
These documents, when completed correctly, help ensure your wishes are heard by your family, healthcare providers, and the legal system.
Our Comprehensive Approach
Over time, we expanded the hub to include grief awareness, support, and tools.
Grief is a natural part of life, arising from various changes and losses. Addressing grief through its diverse presentations equips us with essential life skills. We also offer practical aspects of living, such as in-home support and other useful strategies.
In late 2024, we launched our Honouring Life Podcast to explore end-of-life preparation and funeral arrangements in greater depth.
Following successful High Teas in early 2025, we now host monthly Matters of Life and Death Cafes. These cafes provide a safe space to share ideas and concerns and connect with others on similar journeys.
Who We Serve
Honouring Life Education is designed to be a central hub, consolidating organisations, resources, tools, and ideas to simplify learning and awareness of end-of-life care.
There is a lot of information and resources available, but they are not always easy to find if you don't know what you don't know or the keywords to search with.
The resources and organisations we have curated are screened to determine how they can
- help you learn what is required,
- consider your options, and
- access information to plan, design, and record your wishes.
- Ask for, or access support, help and guidance as you need it, now and in the future.
